BIO

Fint Fransk Orkester is the closest you can get to Montmartre, Paris, without actually traveling to France. With style, elegance, humor and virtuosity, the members of the orchestra take you on a journey deep into the French chanson tradition and embrace you with their charm and colorful characters.

The colorful orchestra delights you with chansons and cabaret, string-swing and hip hop, cœur et douleur, passion and daydreams, sparkling trombone and mesmerizing musette, gypsy guitar and intimate duets.

Fint Fransk Orkester is based in Stavanger (Norway) and consists of Eva Bjerga Haugen (vocals/keys), Dominique Brackeva (vocals/trombone), Johan Egdetveit (accordion), Andreas Barsnes Onarheim (guitar/vocals) and Theodor Barsnes Onarheim (double bass).

The members have written most of the repertoire themselves, but you can also expect sassy interpretations of French predecessors such as Serge Gainsbourg, Charles Trenet and Django Reinhardt.

The show is a treat for eyes and ears, and once you have experienced it, you will always come back for more.
